Hamas  Shattered  myth of Israeli invincibility

Israel’s genocide in Gaza is backed by US and Europe  while Arab dictators remain  shameful collaborators.

For the first time since the  creation of the  state of  Israel  for imported Jew  in the Palestinians lands    in 1948 , the ruling Hamas militant group in the Gaza Strip carried out an unprecedented surprise military attack on Israel at  around 6.30 am on Saturday 7 October 2023.  This   coincides with the  7 October 1973  October  Ramadan War   when Egyptian troops, in a surprise move, entered Israeli occupied Sinai Peninsula.

Hamas militants fired  thousands of rockets as dozens of fighters infiltrated the heavily fortified border on a major holiday  by air, land and sea, catching Israel and its US-European and  Arab collaborators  off guard.

Within hours dozens of Israelis, including soldiers, have been killed and abducted by the resistance.    Shocking photos and videos circulated  within an hour showed  convoys of armed Palestinian fighters breaking through the Israeli barrier along the Gaza border and infiltrating Israeli towns and military bases  . Videos   showed Palestinian militants patrolling Israeli towns in armored cars and vehicles, casually strolling around the neighborhoods.

At 7:50 a.m., the general commander of the Hamas military wing, Muhammed al-Deif, released a recorded statement declaring a “comprehensive war” across occupied Palestine.  “We announce the starting of the Operation of the ‘Flood of al-Aqsa.’ We also announce that the first attack that targeted the enemy’s locations and military fortifications and airports during the first 20 minutes exceeded 5,000 rockets and shells,” the statement said. 

Al-Deif’s statement said the operation was a response to Israel’s treatment of Palestinian prisoners and the continued attacks and violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, which have seen an increase in recent days as large numbers of Israeli settlers raided the compound during the Jewish holiday season. 

“The occupation forces invade our towns in the West Bank every day, they storm people’s homes while they’re safe, they kill, wound, demolish  and detain Palestinians. Hundreds of Palestinians were killed and injured this year. At the same time, the occupation replaced our people and took their land by force to build settlements,” al-Deif said, adding that “the criminal Israeli siege is ongoing in Gaza.”

“Amid all the Israeli crimes and violations, and their violation of international laws, with the full support of the US and the Western countries accompanied by international silence, we have decided to put a halt to this state of affairs. The enemy must understand that the time of carrying out violations with impunity is over,” the statement said.

Columnists in Israeli media described the attack as   unprecedented catastrophe .They said  Israel and the Middle East will never be the  same.

Openly  supporting  Israel despite all its war crimes  and expressing their hatred towards the oppressed and brutalized  Palestinians ,Jewish controlled US and European leaders said  in one voice that Israel has the right to defend itself .Going a step ahead US President Joe Biden said “US support for Israel is ‘rock solid’. and also sent weapons besides dispatching warships to Mediterranean sea to  protect Israel.

This is the very same US  and European leaders who speak about human rights, freedom and  cherished human values  while turning Muslim countries into slaughter houses.The question is how could there be peace with this western attitude towards  Israel and its endless barbarity and  atrocities for almost a century.

Meanwhile, as expected, Israel responded to Hamas military strike   by indiscriminately bombing and turning the Gaza strip into slaughter house .

The Hamas military strike  also sent a clear message to   shameless and  oppressive Arab dictators who   hobnob  with Israel to please  their US European masters to remain in power. However people throughout  Middle East  support the Palestinians and their just struggle for their freedom and dignity. 

At the time of writing this article  on Tuesday 10 October 2023   more than 900 Jews were killed and 2600 injured while palestnians killed stood at 687 and 3726 wounded.

Now the question is Israel has started to unleash its barbarity roasting and toasting Palestinian, men, women,children and the aged. The question is where are the Arab dictators and their armies?  

Gaza is a small Palestinian beach side strip of around 365 sq. miles by the Mediterranean Sea.  This territory with about two million Palestinians is one of the most densely populated   in the world. Most of them   are refugees who owned their lands and  homes   in what we now call Israel. But they were chased out   by committing genocides   and their lands grabbed by migrant Jews with the assistance of the British mandatory authority, to set up the Jewish state of Israel in Palestine in 1948. 

During the June 1967 Israeli war of aggression against neighbouring Arab countries Gaza was brought under Israeli occupation. Since then the people there were subjected to untold oppression, cruelties and miseries besides daily killings, arbitrary arrest and torture. Palestinians in Gaza were a mixed society of civil servants, doctors, teachers, lawyers, health care workers, engineers, journalists, politicians, students and the thousands of people upon whom any society depends.

Unable to face the fierce Palestinian opposition, Israel withdrew its forces from Gaza in 2005 after 38 years and handed over control of the Rafah border, Gaza’s sole contact with the outside world, to Egypt while Palestinian forces, monitored by European Union officials, too were stationed.
